Ingredients

  • 1 beef kilo, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 onions large, diced, approximately 600 grams
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika spicy, powder
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 1/8 cups beer dark
  • 2 1/8 cups beef broth
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 2 potatoes large, diced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • whole grain bread Sour cream and, for serving

Directions

    Place the oil and butter into a pan and saute the onion and garlic on medium heat for approximately 3 minutes, until soft. Add the paprika powders, tomato paste, sugar and bouillon. Once mixed well, add the tbsp. flour. Mix well.

    Add the beer and the broth, allow to boil and then lower the heat to low. Simmer on low heat, covered, for approximately 5 minutes.

    Add the carrots and the potatoes. Season the meat with a tbsp. of salt and a little pepper and add it to the pan. Also add the bay leaves, cumin and oregano.

    Leave simmering, covered, for approximately 1 1/2 hours until all the ingredients are well-incorporated and the meat is softened.

    Serve each bowl with a tbsp. of sour cream and a piece of bread.
