- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 medium size onion
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 can kidney beans
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Directions

1Cook onion in 1 or 2 tablespoons oil until turns clear; some will brown.

2Put meat into onion and cook until meat is done. Drain. Add tomatoes, rice, beans, salt, pepper, chili powder and garlic powder.

3If seems a little dry, add a cup of water or as much water as needed for simmering.

4Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
