- 16 oz. pkg. frozen peas
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 heaping Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 oz. jar pimento
- 1/2 (4 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
- 1/2 c. celery
Directions

1Cook peas according to package instructions (do not overcook; peas should be bright green).

2Drain.

3Melt margarine; add chopped onion and celery.

4Cook slightly (celery should be crunchy).

5Add mushrooms, pimento and water chestnuts and heat thoroughly.

6Pour into drained peas.

7Mix and serve.
