Ingredients
- 1 round steak (1/2-inch thick)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. sliced onions
- 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 c. sour cream
Directions

1Cut steak into 4 pieces; rub each piece on both sides with cut garlic clove.

2Combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper; pound into steak.

3Brown meat in hot shortening.

4Top with onions and mushrooms.

5Cover and cook over low heat until tender, about 2 hours.

6Add more liquid, if needed.

7Remove steak to platter. Spoon excess fat from liquid in pan; add sour cream.

8If too thick, dilute with 1/2 cup water or bouillon.

9Heat and serve sauce over meat.
