  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups buttermilk

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400F (200C).

    Sift together dry ingredients.

    Add buttermilk and mix thoroughly.

    Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.

    Place pan in the oven, immediately turn thermostat down to 350F (180C).
