Ingredients

  • 15 (about) whole graham crackers
  • 1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped toasted pecans
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Lightly butter a cookie sheet with sides.

    (I use a jelly roll pan.)

    Arrange graham crackers side by side with edges touching on pan.
  5. 5
    Stir butter and brown sugar over medium heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves.

    Mix in vanilla and boil 1 minute.

    Pour this mixture over crackers and sprinkle with pecans.

    Bake until topping bubbles and turns deep brown, about 10 minutes.

    Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

    Cool 5 minutes and cut along graham cracker edge to separate.

    Transfer to rack and cool.
