Graham Cracker Vanilla Bars

  • Graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup canned milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecan pieces
  • Betty Crocker cream cheese icing

Directions

    In 9 X 13 pan (Do not grease or spray) Layer whole graham cracker to coat bottom.

    Mix 1/2 cup canned milk, 1 stick margarine, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 egg (slightly beaten).

    Mix all together and cook 2 minutes, after bringing to boil.

    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup coconut, 1 cup chopped pecan pieces and 3/4 cup crushed graham cracker.

    Cool and spread on top of graham crackers.

    Then put another layer of whole graham crackers and ice with Betty Crocker cream cheese icing. Refrigerate.

    Cut into bars when ready to serve.
