Grampy'S Fish Chowder

- 2 lb. haddock (fresh or frozen)
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 1 qt. milk
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into small bite-sized pieces
- 2 large onions, diced
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cut fish into bite-sized pieces.

2Simmer in just enough water to cover fish until fish turns white.

3Remove fish and set aside. Add water to the same pot and boil potatoes until just about done. Remove potatoes.

4At the same time, cook onions in saute pan with butter until soft and translucent.

5Now, in large pot, combine fish, potatoes, onions, cream and milk.

6Heat on low.

7Do not let boil! Cover pot and let sit for a half hour or so.
