  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. lemon or vanilla flavoring

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs yolks, milk, flour, salt and baking powder.

    Beat egg whites and fold in last.

    Beat mixture 300 strokes or 3 minutes with mixture.

    This beating is a must. Bake in oven at 375° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
