- 1 c. yellow corn meal
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Grease an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.

3Mix the flour, corn meal, sugar, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl. Mix vinegar, milk, beaten egg and melted butter in a small bowl (vinegar and milk will sour).

4Mix liquid ingredients into dry ingredients.

5Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
