- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
- 2 c. crisp dry cereal (Rice Krispies, Wheaties, etc.)
- 1 c. coconut, chocolate chips or raisins
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar.

2Add eggs and flavoring. Gradually add flour, baking powder and salt mixture.

3Fold in dry cereal and coconut, chips or raisins.

4Roll in small balls and place on buttered cookie sheet.

5Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350°.
