  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 6 c. rolled oats
  • 2 c. wheat germ
  • 2 c. nuts or sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. blackstrap molasses (optional)

Directions

    Mix salt, oatmeal, wheat germ, nuts and seeds in large casserole or baking pan.

    Mix oil, water, vanilla, honey and molasses; pour over dry mixture.

    Spread all in 2 or 3 shallow pans.

    Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring often.

    After baking, add raisins and/or chopped dates.
