  • 2 1/2 c. regular rolled oats
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or almonds
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed or wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. shelled sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • 1/2 c. snipped dried apricots
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Directions

    In a bowl, stir together oats, coconut, almonds or walnuts, sesame seed or wheat germ and sunflower seeds.

    Combine honey and oil.

    Stir into oat mixture.

    Spread out evenly in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

    Bake at 300° for 45 to 50 minutes.

    Stir every 15 minutes.

    Remove from oven.

    Stir in apricots and raisins. Remove to another pan.

    Cool, stirring often to prevent lumping. Store in tightly covered jars.
