- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 1/2 c. each: raisins, dried apples and figs
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. oats
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. powdered milk
- 1/2 c. mini chocolate chips
- 1 c. sunflower seeds
Directions

1Cream margarine, shortening and sugar.

2Add egg, vanilla and honey.

3Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with milk.

4Stir in oats, Rice Krispies, chocolate chips and seeds.

5Grind dried fruit to a sticky consistency and stir in.

6Line an 18 x 12 x 1-inch pan with foil.

7Spray with coating.

8With damp fingers, spread in pan.

9Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

10Cool, invert and peel off foil.

11Store airtight.

12Freezes well.
