Ingredients

  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. sesame seed (optional)
  • 1 c. sliced almonds
  • 1 or 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. pure oil
  • 2 c. honey
  • 7 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. wheat germ
  • 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. raisins

Directions

    Use a large pan 2 to 3-inches high.

    Mix all dry ingredients together.

    In a separate bowl, mix well the honey, oil and vanilla. Pour over dry mixture.

    Work with hands or large spoon.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Bake at 250° to 275° for 30 to 40 minutes or until toasty brown.

    Stir every 10 minutes.

    Do not overbake.

    Add raisins after cereal is baked or they will be hard.
