Granola Raisin Bread For The Bread Machine

  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 2/3 cup granola cereal
  • 3 tablespoons dry buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vital wheat gluten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey

Directions

    Soak raisins in water for an hour before adding to the bread machine mid-cycle (when the machine beeps, in between the first and second rise).

    Add ingredients to machine according to manufacturer directions.

    Bake at basic one poud loaf setting.

    When finished, remove bread from pan and cool on a wire rack.
