Grapefruit Pineapple Salad

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 medium size can crushed pineapple
  • 2 c. grapefruit sections and juice, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped

    Cream together cream cheese and sugar.

    Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup water.

    Add boiling water.

    Stir until dissolved.

    Add to mixture.

    Combine well.

    Add crushed pineapple, grapefruit sections and juice and walnuts or pecans.
