Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 c. sliced carrots (fresh and raw)
  • 1/4 c. celery leaves, washed well
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine or substitute with water
  • giblets, chopped

Directions

    Bring to a boil.

    Cover and simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

    Strain well.

    Reserve liquid!

    Discard vegetables and use liquid to make gravy.
