- 3/4 c. long grain rice
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- dash of salt
- 5 c. hot milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- cinnamon
Directions

1Add rice to boiling salted water; cook until water is absorbed.

2Add hot milk; cook slowly for about 30 minutes.

3Add sugar; heat until dissolved.

4Remove pan from heat.

5Beat eggs separately in a bowl; add a little of the hot mixture, stirring constantly.

6Add butter; stir until melted and blended.

7Pour this slowly into rice mixture, stirring constantly.

8Replace pan on heat; stir until creamy.

9Thickens in 5 to 10 minutes.

10Add vanilla; sprinkle with cinnamon.

11Cool.
