Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 4 c. water
- 16 oz. tomato sauce
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- beef base: 1 c. broth or 3 bouillon cubes
Directions

1In a Dutch oven, cook the beef; drain off fat and remove.

2Add the onions.

3Cook until translucent and remove.

4Add pepper. Cook until tender.

5Return onions and ground beef to the pot.

6Add all remaining ingredients.

7Stir.

8Bring to a boil and lower heat to a simmer; simmer for 20 minutes to cook potatoes.

9Serve hot.
