- 2 to 3 cans green beans, drained
- 3 strips bacon
- 1 small onion, chopped
Directions

1In pan, put green beans, 2 cans of fresh water and onion.

2Cut bacon into tiny pieces and add to beans.

3(Can add diced ham instead, if desired.)

4Cook on medium to low heat until bacon is done.

5Add more water, if needed.

6Put in serving dish and add 2 to 3 pats of butter for flavor.
