Green Beans With Bacon

  • 450 g long green beans
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 4 slices streaky bacon, diced

Directions

    Quickly cook the beans in a pot of boiling water for 3 - 4 minutes or until tender.

    In another small frying pan heat the oil.

    Fry the onion for 5 minutes then add bacon.

    Tip out any excess fat that comes off bacon.

    Toss the beans through the acon and onion mixture.

    Serve immediately.
