Green Beans With Bacon

- 450 g long green beans
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium red onion, finely diced
- 4 slices streaky bacon, diced
Directions

1Quickly cook the beans in a pot of boiling water for 3 - 4 minutes or until tender.

2In another small frying pan heat the oil.

3Fry the onion for 5 minutes then add bacon.

4Tip out any excess fat that comes off bacon.

5Toss the beans through the acon and onion mixture.

6Serve immediately.
