- pastry for 9-inch pie
- 1/2 lb. ground meat
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles, drained
- 2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of garlic powder
Directions

1Line a 9-inch quiche dish with pastry.

2Trim excess pastry around edges.

3Prick bottom and sides of pastry with a fork.

4Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

6Cook meat until brown and onion until tender.

7Sprinkle meat mixture into pastry shell.

8Top with green chiles and cheese.

9Combine last 4 ingredients, mixing well. Pour into pastry shell.
