Green Chili Cheeseburger

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 1 can (4 Oz. Size) Chopped Green Chilies
  • 4 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 4 whole Hamburger Buns
  • 8 slices Bacon (optional)

Directions

    Make hamburger patties, salt and pepper to taste and grill /fry until cooked through.

    Add a teaspoon or more of the green chilies to each patty and cover with a slice of cheese and cover until melted.

    This is best with the buns toasted.

    If I use bacon, I will add 2 slices onto the patty before adding the chilies and cheese.

    I dont like to add mayo, mustard or ketchup.

    I find it takes away from the true taste of the burger.

    The cheese and chilies provide enough juice to make up for the condiments.
