  • 2 c. uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. chopped parsley
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 c. chopped green onion tops
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 lb. mild or sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Cook rice.

    Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour in greased casserole (3-quart) and bake, covered, at 350° for 60 minutes.
