- 1 c. rice
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 3/4 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 c. water
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Use no salt.

2Saute onion and green pepper in margarine until transparent.

3Add water and bouillon cubes.

4Bring to a boil to dissolve cubes.

5Add rice, parsley and pepper.

6Bake in a deep 2-quart casserole, covered, for 3/4 to 1 hour or until water is absorbed and rice is tender.

7Oven should be at 350°.

8Remove from oven, flake rice with fork, replace cover and let steam for 10 minutes before serving.
