- 1/2 c. bacon drippings
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
Directions

1Clean and snap green beans.

2Put bacon drippings in a large pot; add the snap beans and about 2 cups water.

3Cook at medium temperature.

4Add water as needed.

5Just before they are done, add the salt and sugar.

6Serve with fresh onions and cornbread. Yield:
