- 8 green peppers
- 2 c. precooked rice
- 1 (16 oz.) can Italian style stewed tomatoes
- basil, Italian seasoning and garlic salt
- 2 lb. ground beef
- chopped onions
- 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Directions

1Boil peppers 20 to 30 minutes.

2Brown meat; drain grease.

3Add tomatoes, 1/2 of tomato sauce, all seasonings and chopped onion to meat.

4Add rice to meat.

5Stuff peppers with mixture.

6Place green peppers in a baking dish.

7Top with remaining tomato sauce.

8Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
