  • 8 green peppers
  • 2 c. precooked rice
  • 1 (16 oz.) can Italian style stewed tomatoes
  • basil, Italian seasoning and garlic salt
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • chopped onions
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce

Directions

    Boil peppers 20 to 30 minutes.

    Brown meat; drain grease.

    Add tomatoes, 1/2 of tomato sauce, all seasonings and chopped onion to meat.

    Add rice to meat.

    Stuff peppers with mixture.

    Place green peppers in a baking dish.

    Top with remaining tomato sauce.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
