Grilled BLT Crostinis

  • 1 whole Baguette
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Season Salt (such As Lawyrs)
  • 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 13 cups Olive Oil Mayonnaise (such As Helmans)
  • 1 cup Leafy Lettuce, Any Kind
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, Halved

    Slice the baguette into 3/4 slices.

    Generously brush the olive oil over the top of the slices and sprinkle them with seasoned salt and pepper.

    Set aside.

    Fry bacon.

    Let cool and drain, and then cut into thirds.

    Heat grill to medium high heat.

    Put crostinis on, paying constant attention to them because they will burn if you even look away.

    After 30 seconds, check the bottom; if its nice and toasty, flip and toast the other side for about another 30 seconds.

    Take toasted crostinis, spread on the mayo and place a piece of bacon on top.

    Then add the lettuce and finally, the halved tomatoes.
