  • 1 (2-inch) boneless ham steak, fully cooked
  • 1/2 c. ginger ale
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger, ground
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves, ground

Directions

    Put steak in a large shallow dish.

    Mix together ginger ale, orange juice, brown sugar, vegetable oil, white vinegar, mustard, ginger and cloves, stirring until sugar dissolves.

    Pour over steak.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Turn meat occasionally. Drain steak; grill covered, over hot coals, 15 minutes on each side.
