- 1 whole pineapple
- 1/2 cup stick butter
- Lime juice
- Sugar in the raw
- Freshly ground nutmeg
- Vanilla bean paste
Directions

1Cut bottom and top off of the pineapple and discard. Leave the rest of the rind/husk on. Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise. Cut each half into 6 - 8 pieces - lengthwise.

2Melt the butter. Add in sugar until a thin paste is formed. Add lime juice, nutmeg, and vanilla to taste.

3Baste the pineapple wedges with the paste.

4Cook on a grill over medium heat until lightly browned on both sides.

5Cut into bite-sized pieces.

6To eat, hold by the rind and eat the flesh.
