- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. prunes, cooked, seeded and cut up
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream the Wesson oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla together.

2Sift flour with soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.

3Add to the creamed mixture.

4Pour in buttermilk and mix well. Add the cut up prunes and chopped nuts.

5Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Let bake for 1 hour at 325°.
