- 1 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
Directions

1Place shrimp in bowl.

2Mix all ingredients and pour over shrimp.

3Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour (no longer).

4Lift shrimp from marinade and thread 6 to 8 shrimp on skewer.

5Place skewers on grill, turning as needed.

6Cook 8 to 10 minutes.
