Ingredients
- 4 lb. spareribs, cut in serving pieces
- 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chili sauce
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 c. dark rum
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
Directions

1Wrap ribs in double thickness of foil.

2Bake for 1 1/2 hours in a 350° oven.

3Unwrap and drain.

4Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs.

5Marinate at room temperature for 1 hour, or refrigerate 2 hours.

6Lay ribs on grill for 30 minutes, 4 inches above coals.

7Turn often and baste with sauce.
