- 4 whole dressed trout
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 sliced lemon (in fourths)
- 8 to 12 slices bacon, partially cooked
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Rinse and pat dry each whole trout.

2Salt and pepper each cavity of trout and stuff with 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon onion and 1 slice of lemon.

3Wrap each trout with 2 or 3 slices bacon in aluminum foil.

4Place on grill 3 to 4-inches above coals. Cook 10 minutes per side or until bacon is crisp and trout flakes easily in thickest part of flesh.

5Don't overcook.

6Serve immediately.
