  • 6 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. grits
  • 2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 block Velveeta cheese, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Lawry's seasoned salt
  • 2 to 3 shakes Tabasco sauce
  • 3 beaten eggs

Directions

    Boil first 3 ingredients until grits are done.

    Add margarine, stir until melted.

    Add Velveeta.

    Add seasoned salt and Tabasco sauce.

    Mix well and cook thoroughly to allow cheese to melt.

    Add eggs to mixture.

    Pour into a large baking dish and bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes or until set and slightly brown on top.
