Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. salted water
  • 1 c. grits
  • 1 stick garlic
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 2 eggs
  • shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Let water come to a boil.

    Sprinkle grits into the water.

    Let cook until almost done.

    Mix garlic, cheese, butter and milk with grits.

    Put in greased baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 30 or 40 minutes.

    Sprinkle paprika on top.
