- 5 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 6 eggs, separated
- salt to taste
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Combine grits, milk, butter, egg yolks and salt.

3Pour into a 3-quart casserole.

4Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into grits mixture.

5Bake for 1 hour.
