  • 2 c. milk
  • 5 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 6 eggs, separated
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Combine grits, milk, butter, egg yolks and salt.

    Pour into a 3-quart casserole.

    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into grits mixture.
