- 1 stick butter
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 stick butter, melted
Directions

1Boil grits with 1 stick butter and 1 quart milk until thick. Remove from fire; add cheese, salt and pepper.

2Beat with a mixer to blend, adding 1/3 stick melted butter on top.

3Put in a greased casserole and bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
