- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 5 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 5 c. chopped celery
- 5 cans tomato soup (undiluted)
- 5 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Melt margarine in 8-quart pan over low flame.

2Add ground beef; turn flame to medium and cook until red color disappears. Add onion, celery and green pepper; cook until beef is brown and vegetables are tender.

3Add soup, tomato sauce, salt and pepper; cover and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool and divide equally into 5 freezer containers.

4May be thawed and used in a variety of recipes.
