Ground Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) box spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1/2 lb. cheese, cut
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute the onion, green pepper and celery in the butter until golden brown.

    Remove from pan.

    Heat the ground beef until color changes.

    Add to the cooked spaghetti, mushroom soup diluted with 1 can water, the cheese (cut in rather large pieces) and salt and pepper to taste.

    Bake in buttered casserole, covered with cracker crumbs and dots of butter.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
