Ground Beef Soup

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- 3 to 4 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
- 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
- 1 (2 lb.) bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 5 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 10 oz. noodles
Directions

1In a large frying pan, cook ground beef.

2Add onion and cabbage and cook until tender. Put ground beef mixture into large pot and add tomato juice, frozen vegetables, water, salt, pepper, parsley and bay leaf.

3Bring to a boil and simmer until vegetables are tender.

4Bring soup to a boil again.

5Add noodles and simmer until noodles are done.

6You may add more water if you like it that way.
