  • 5 3/4 c. tomato juice
  • 1 c. stewed tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. basil
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 small can mushrooms or fresh
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder or fresh
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 2 c. shredded cabbage
  • 2 c. French-style beans (1 can or fresh)
