Ground Pork Patties

- 400 grams Ground pork
- 40 grams Green onion or scallion
- 4 Shiitake mushrooms
- 2 tsp Ginger (grated)
- 2 tbsp Katakuriko
- 4 tbsp Panko
- 1 dash Salt
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
Directions

1Finely chop the shiitake mushrooms and green onions.

2Moisten the panko with a little water (until it resembles the consistency of okara).

3Add the ground pork, mushrooms, onion, ginger, katakuriko, panko, salt and soy sauce into a bowl and blend together.

4Turn the mixture out onto a chopping board and shape into a large rectangle and cut into your desired size.

5Add a thin layer of vegetable oil (not listed) to a frying pan and put over the heat.

6Add the patties and cook on a high heat until browned.

7Turn them over, add 50 ml hot water to the pan and cover with a lid.

8Steam the patties on a high heat until the liquid has almost all evaporated and they have turned a nice brown colour.

9Serve with some mustard soy sauce and eat whilst hot!
