- 3/4 c. smooth peanut butter
- 1 chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 fresh tomatoes, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Cover chicken with water in a saucepan and gently boil with salt and onion; cook until chicken is tender.

2Mix peanut butter gently with water until a thin paste is made.

3Add peanut butter paste to chicken and broth.

4Stir constantly and gently.

5Add fresh tomatoes and chili powder to the chicken and cook gently for 30 to 40 minutes.

6Salt and pepper to taste.

7Serve over rice, yam or fufu (African cassava root boiled and pounded).
