- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 Tbsp. half and half
- 1/4 (scant) tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar (scant)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°, placing one rack on top of oven and one rack on lower shelf in oven.

2In bowl, cream together sugar, butter and margarine. Add egg yolk, vanilla and half and half. Add dry ingredients, starting with flour.

3Mix well.

4Press dough into sand bakkel tins.

5Bake, placing on lower shelf, for 7 minutes, then top shelf for 2 minutes (9 minutes total).

6Slide off sheet.

7Leave them right side up until cool enough to handle. Pop out of tin with a slightly squeeze.

8Makes about 45 bakkels.
