- 2 firm ripe avocados
- 3/4 c. finely chopped red onion
- juice from 1 lime
- 1 c. peeled, seeded and cubed ripe tomato
- 3 pickled Serrano chilies or green hot chilies, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- ground pepper to taste
Directions

1Peel avocados and remove seeds.

2Cut lengthwise into slices. Finely dice slices to make about 3 cups.

3Put 1 cup cubed avocado, 1/2 cup onion and half of lime juice into blender and puree. Scrape into bowl and add remaining avocado, chopped onion, tomato and chopped chilies.

4Add more lime juice if desired.

5Add salt and pepper to taste.

6Stir to blend.

7Yields 4 to 6 servings.
