- 1 lb fresh Brussels sprout
- Guinness stout, to cover
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Directions

1Trim and wash sprouts.

2Place in a medium-size saucepan and pour enough beer over them to cover.

3Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender.

4Add more beer if needed, as liquid evaporates.

5Drain; add salt and butter.

6Serve hot.
