  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 bell peppers, green bell, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 lb beef, cubed
  • 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 12 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

    Saute the onions and green peppers in the butter until the onions are transparent.

    Add the tomato paste and cook for about 5 minutes.

    Add the beef cubes and then add all of the other ingredients.

    Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours.

    Serve hot alone or over potatoes or pasta.
