Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil or salad oil
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 qt. chicken stock
- 2 cans tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 pkg. frozen sliced okra
- 1 lb. cooked, peeled shrimp
- 1/2 lb. or 2 cans lump crab meat
- 2 tsp. salt
- pinch of pepper
Directions

1Saute onion, celery and green pepper in hot oil until tender. Add stock, tomatoes, tomato sauce and okra; simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

2Add shrimp, crab meat, salt and pepper.

3Simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

4Serve on top of mounds of hot, boiled rice as main dish along with tossed green salad and hot French bread.
